The MCDCC will elect two new high school members, one female and one male, at the Tuesday, June 13, meeting. Applications are due in the MCDCC office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 12. Email a 1-page cover letter, and letters of support to the MCDCC office at office@mcdcc.org.

According to MCDCC rules, student member duties include chairing two committees: the Student Volunteer Mobilization Committee that is responsible for the recruitment of student interns and volunteers, and the Student Club Organizing Committe that is tasked with organizing Democratic Clubs in every high school in Montgomery County.

Student members also are tasked with recruiting future student members of the Committee. MCDCC student members serve a one-year term and are expected to attend the monthly meetings held on the second Tuesday of each month. For more information, contact office@mcdcc.org.
