Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee (MCDCC) Open Positions: D-16 Member, D-17 Member, D-20 Member, At-Large Member
There are vacancies on the Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee due to the resignations of members Wendy Cohen, Michael Gruenberg, Danielle Meitiv, and Jonathan Prutow.
DEADLINE to submit applications: March 12, 2018 at 5:00 pm
Meeting: March 13, 2018 at 7:30 pm, at our office, 3720 Farragut Avenue, Suite #303, Kensington
Positions are Effective: March 31, 2018
All applicants must be 18 years old or older.
D-16 position – Applicants must be registered Democrats and reside in Montgomery County State Legislative District 16.
D-17 position – Applicants must be registered Democrats and reside in Montgomery County State Legislative District 17.
D-20 position – Applicants must be registered Democrats and reside in Montgomery County State Legislative District 20.
At-Large position – Applicants must be registered Democrats, reside in Montgomery County, and can not be a resident of Montgomery County State Legislative District D-17 or D-39.
- Submit a 1-page cover letter stating the position you are applying for and confirming your eligibility requirements.
- Submit a resume of no more than two pages that includes your current and/or past: employment history, MCDCC precinct organization positions, elected positions, political campaign involvement, Democratic Party volunteer experience, MCDCC chartered Clubs and Caucuses memberships, and memberships in other clubs related to Democratic politics.
- Endorsements are optional.

AT THE MEETING
Each candidate will have 3 minutes for general remarks at the meeting. Then MCDCC members have the opportunity to ask the panel of applicants questions. Applicants have 1 minute to reply. Finally, the MCDCC votes to select a new member.
