Supreme Court of the United States, 1 First St NE, Washington, DC 20543, USA

Take action with us!
Join Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, and Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC outside of the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday, April 2, to hear from storytellers and providers about how this case could harm patients, and make our voices heard!

It's Go Time: How to Fight for the Department of Education w/ Sharon McMahon
It's Go Time: How to Fight for the Department of Education w/ Sharon McMahon
April 3, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Virtual
Sign up here We hear about the Department of Education all the time — but do we really understand all that it does? The Trump Administration wants to eliminate it – this isn’t a hypothetical situation! It’s a serious threat to the future of education in our country and the power to stop it starts with us. Join us for an eye-opening conversation with Sharon McMahon — America’s favorite government teacher and the voice behind @SharonSaysSo — as she breaks down what the Department of Education really does, why it matters to every student, parent, and community, and what’s at stake if it’s shut down. We will also hear from fired federal workers who will share an insider’s perspective on why the department and their work was vital for our schools. Let’s come together, get informed, and take action. Our schools, our kids, and our communities are counting on us.

Washington Monument 2 15th St NW Washington, DC 20004
Register at Hands Off! March on D.C. · Mobilize
Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them.
They're taking everything they can get their hands on—our health care, our data, our jobs, our services—and daring the world to stop them. This is a crisis, and the time to act is now.
🚨 On Saturday, April 5th, we're taking to the streets in Washington, D.C. to send a clear message: Hands Off! 🚨
This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies. Alongside Americans across the country, we are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop to the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country.
A core principle behind all Hands Off! events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

Democratic Club of Leisure World – A Faceoff with ICE
Democratic Club of Leisure World – A Faceoff with ICE
April 24, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Clubhouse I, 3700 Rossmoor Blvd, Silver Spring, MD 20906, USA
This meeting will dive into the immigration issue. How do we legally protect our immigrant neighbors and workers from the raids by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency? The agency has been weaponized to spread fear as it snatches people from their homes, workplaces, hospitals and elsewhere, sometimes separating children from parents. It can happen here.
Our guest speakers are Del. Ryan Spiegel, one of the top immigration lawyers and Annapolis legislators on the issue, and potentially a representative from CASA, the organization that protects Spanish-speaking immigrants. Spiegel will speak to both the legal and illegal aspects of ICE. Maryland legislators have several bills to protect these communities.
We will focus on the role that Leisure World security can – or cannot – play regarding any ICE raid here.
This program is free and open to the public.
